We work with a small team of permanent midwives. We have everything in-house to offer you what you need.

We provide obstetric care in the municipalities of Renkum, Arnhem and the towns of Driel and Heteren.

Small team

At Amare we work with four midwives: Dagmar, Meyke, Simone and Jolanda. Because we are a small team, we can get to know you (and your partner) well.

We take the time

You will receive the care that suits you. We find everything about being pregnant and becoming parents important. We like to take the time for that.

You choose

You decide which pregnancy support suits you best. And you also decide how and where you would like to give birth. At home, in the bath or in the hospital: we support your choice.

What kind of pregnancy support do you want?

At Amare you can choose between two types of pregnancy support: Amare Individual and Amare Group.


If you prefer to come for check-ups alone (with your partner) during your pregnancy, you can opt for individual guidance.

Control in your hands

The birth

Most women give birth between 37 and 42 weeks. Make sure you have everything arranged before the 37th week.
